Yesterday, I took a trip into New York City for media day to get a sneak peek into the Holiday House NYC founded by Iris Danker, a holiday-themed Designer Showhouse in a historic 20,000+ square foot mansion presented by Traditional Home. Holiday House NYC benefits The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Evelyn Lauder in 1993. The foundation is a pioneer in dramatically improving diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of breast cancer to help women globally. I look forward to the Holiday House NYC opening each year. Feel the love for life, compassion and support, all while enjoying great design for a great cause.

The Grand Foyer – White Webb Interior Design – Loving Day
The Holiday marking the anniversary of the 1967 US Supreme Court decision in the case of Loving vs. Virginia, in which interracial marriage was legalized. “The design scheme riffs on the idea of love being something to be shared equally by everyone.” — White Webb
Boxing Day – Sitting Room/Library by Robert Passal for Scotland
An ode to Scotland, Robert Passcal chose a to layer the space keeping it clean and serene. The room features beautiful European mid-century antiques and fabrics from the Scottish mills in warm creams and greys. Perfection! Ronda Carman fabrics.
