Last week was a mix of high and low. The terrible attacks in Paris and Belgium had me in tears. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and the citizens of France and all who have suffered during this difficult time.
Earlier during the day, I attended a holiday event at Martha Stewart’s studios in New York City for Martha’s Christmas demos using her decorations from The Home Depot. Kevin Sharkey, Executive Editorial Director of Decorating at Martha Stewart welcomed more than 30-lifestyle and crafts bloggers to join Martha Stewart in the first-ever LIVE Facebook holiday event.
Martha Stewart was warm and funny and full of acknowledge from crafts to the history of the kissing ball. She answered questions from the audience in the room and those watching online. In case you missed it, you can watch the entire video here.

One of Martha Stewart’s favorite projects. A DIY Christmas tree mounted on a frame. Perfect for any room in the house or office.

Lunch was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the kale and quinoa salad on roasted honey nut squash.
From Christmas trees, ornaments, tools and décor, find it all at the Home Depot and Home Decorators with great style from the Martha Stewart. Hope you enjoyed the video and try one of the DIY projects. Thank you Martha and Kevin for a wonderful afternoon of holiday crafting, eating and networking.
