After completing Phase I last summer, Phase I transformed 18 bedrooms and several common areas, Phase II continued with the addition of 24 bedrooms, four kitchens, five common areas, laundry rooms and the creation of a brand new fitness center and meditation room.
The mission of The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is to give comfort and shelter to families experiencing the pain of having a sick child in local hospital facilities. A “home away from home”, the House provides the parents and siblings of these children with a temporary haven in a secure and comfortable environment among other families sharing a similar burden.
Each room is beautifully designed to serve as a sanctuary, a home away from home, during a difficult time.

We loved designers Young Huh, Danielle Colding and Drew McGukin individual designs last year. They returned for Project Design, Phase II and joined forces to create a joyous space full of color, whimsy and lots of fun. The space is zoned for play and conversation, inspired by Hunt Slonem, painter and sculptor.
A wonderland for children to be children and forget about their pain as they play.
Please join Kravet Inc., and NYC&G as we celebrate the completion of Project Design 2014, Phase II renovations at the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.
