Purple In October

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I’ll be covering the Holiday House NYC next month and celebrating all things pink this month.   In the meantime, I wanted to bring attention to another great cause. Did you know that October is also Domestic Violence Awareness month?   Domestic violence hurts everyone. Approximately 8 million men and women experience violence at the hands of an intimate partner every year. When there are children in a household, those children are likely to suffer abuse as well.

To raise awareness, let’s get the word out.  Add a shade of purple to pink in support of two important causes.

Alex Papachristidis’s NYC Apartment. Gorgeous custom-made sofa is upholstered in a Luigi Bevilacqua cotton.  Alex is looking for Project Manager.   It would be a dream job to work with a master in design.
