Happy Friday! Daylight saving time starts this weekend. Clocks will “spring forward” an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 9. It’s another sign we are getting closer to spring.
My backyard is still covered with snow. We could all use a pick me up until those first buds start peeking through the soil. I headed to my neighborhood flower shop, The Flower Station, to pick up daffodils and hyacinths.
Next to my cookbooks, yellow and purple brighten my small vignette in the kitchen. The daffodils and hyacinths add that familiar fragrance of spring. It’s the perfect small bouquet for a pick me up to spring forward this weekend.
