Week Three – One Room Challenge Guest Participant – Mudroom Makeover

Hope you are all well.   Things are moving slowly here during week three of the One Room Challenge Guest Participant  Mudroom Makeover.  Week three has been mostly cleaning and organizing a messy, catch all room.

(I promised you pictures, but I didn’t say they would be pretty.  The bunny is a dog toy.)

The freestanding utility sink is uncomfortable and not very pretty.   I do think utility sinks  come in handy,  maybe in the basement.

Service calls to the electrician and plumber were made last week.  Yesterday, I met the electrician to discuss adding electrical for two walls and moving the ceiling light to center them better in the doorway.

I am super excited to get things moving now that the room has been cleaned up.  Tomorrow, I will be looking at crown molding samples.  The mudroom  has tall ceilings and needs  balance and a finishing touch to coordinate with the generous 11″  floor base molding.

Things will get messy here again, but in a good way….. progress.
