Organizing and Thrifting

It’s the middle of the week.  A reminder to gather my thoughts and my home.  Wednesday is a good day to straighten up, review my schedule, and adjust my weekly goals.   One of my goals is to stay organized.

I’m starting to organize my personal items.  Taking a little more time to keep things in order now, will save time later.   I went thrifting and found a few pretty Wedgwood pieces for my accessories.  A covered box-pale blue Jasperwarea lidded trinket box, and a fluted dish. My finds were under $50.  I think I made out pretty good.  It’s important that a space be functional and beautiful.   Get creative.  Look for unconventional storage and display pieces.  A pretty teacup could hold your rings, a saucer could hold your necklace.  Here are a few designer boxes for inspiration.

Wow!  They are beautiful.  Don’t forget, now is a perfect time to stop by Goodwill  and drop off  winter clothing.  You know those items that have been in the back of the closet for more than six months.  Happy Wednesday!
