Week four of the One Room Challenge Participants has arrived. We are moving full speed ahead. The room is painted in Nancy’s Blushes by Farrow and Ball. The color looks amazing. It is a pretty grown up version of pink that makes the hubby look fabulous, too. (I love when he wears a pink shirt.)
Last week, I had a chair and no desk. This week I have a desk and a chair I need to return. For a desk, I went with the Bungalow5 Jordan desk. The desk looks amazing with the gold hardware. I was playing it safe with a white office chair because the red velvet chair I wanted to order could not be delivered in time to complete the project. Last night, I found a red velvet chair and drove to pick it up.
Now that the essential players: paint, desk and chair have been selected, the focus is on lighting, storage, rug and art. Out and about, this beauty caught my eye, a vintage hand-painted cabinet with shelves, probably 1920s inspired. I’m looking forward to bring it home on the weekend.
That’s all I have for now. To view more of weeks four amazing projects in progress, please visit the One Room Challenge Wednesday featured designers and Guest Participants who dared to tackle the six week challenge. Thanks for stopping by.
