Time is moving fast this week. I’ve been out and about antiquing, sourcing furniture and picking up fabric samples. Connecting with vendors and building relationships with brands is important. Design is very personal. To be invited to a client’s home and supporting them to make their spaces comfortable, functional and personal to their life style is one of the most rewarding things about being a decorator. More important, however, are the relationships I build. It starts way before we talk about design. It is with mutual respect and appreciation that we begin the design process.
What caught my eye this week in design?

Simple neutrals and greens fabrics have me counting down the days until the arrival of Spring.

Until then, these cold temperatures have me craving warm soup.

I found a few delicious and simple soup recipes in the gourmet isle at HomeGoods.

There you have it. Hope to do a little more blogging next week.  In the meantime, don’t forget to stop by the HomeGoods blog and read my other post.
