The kids are all grown up and their bedrooms need a little updating. They don’t come home as often. However, every now and then friends and family members come to visit and I offer they stay overnight. Does this sound familiar? That’s exactly my situation. In a few weeks, guest will be arriving to celebrate Easter and Passover. Hoping to update at least one of the bedrooms before summer, I’m doing a little design musing.
Color: Light blue/rust/white sheets

Color: Grey and Yellow

Pattern mixing: I do like a balance of feminine and masculine in a guest bedroom. Barclay Butera and Ralph Lauren are two favorite brands for achieving a balance of feminine and masculine décor.

My preference is a few less pillows. The headboard is a little too modern, maybe without the wood trim. Call me crazy, but I have a thing about fabric tufted headboards, when I see them all I think about is dust mites. A leather tufted headboard would be the option for me. (I know they are trending and every headboard I see is upholstered in fabric, it seems). Design is personal. What do you think about feminine and masculine décor in a guest bedroom?
