Treasure Hunting With Eddie Ross At Pine Hill Farm

Driving nearly two hours for an estate sale may seem too far for most people.  However, this was no regular estate sale.  It was Eddie Ross’ estate sale.  Yes, that Eddie Ross, Senior Style Editor of Martha Stewart Living and Associate Editor for House Beautiful.

Eddie began his career working in television, first as a food editor on Martha Stewart Living and later as Associate Design Director for all in-house production at Food Network.

Eddie had been my inspiration for starting my blog.   He has great taste and loves treasure hunting.  I was  thrilled to meet Eddie Ross and Jaithan Kochar, his partner.   The Pine Hill Farm house was packed with beautiful tabletop pieces (iron stone, Wedgewood , silverware, serving ware, barware)  brass lamps, bamboo chairs, furniture and accessories.  I grabbed what I could fit in my car.  Eddie was very generous with his prices and even gave me a few things.

Tip: Arrive prepared with paper and bags to protect and pack your finds.

Greek key heaven!

I dusted a few items and immediately went to work.  The coffee table got a fresh update with Lucite candle sticks, brass cricket box, and a vintage match holder.  Thank you, Eddie and Jaithan.   I had a great day at Pine Hill Farms.

Overtime, I’ll be incorporating my purchases into our current home.  Vintage pieces give character and history to a home.  I will treasure these for many years to come.  Happy Hunting!ivy
